Trouble Defense also provides Washington, DC Concealed Carry Training for eligible applicants.

DC requires applicants to complete specific classroom and live-fire training with an MPD-certified concealed carry instructor.

Because of those requirements, hosted DC training must be structured around the current Metropolitan Police Department standards.

You can review current requirements and certified instructors through the Metropolitan Police Department.

What Does the Host Need to Provide?

Requirements depend on the type of training being delivered.

For most classroom-based courses, the host should be prepared to provide an appropriate training space with enough seating for registered participants.

• Restroom access

• Parking or building-access instructions

• Projector or display screen when available

• Reliable Wi-Fi when required
