From initial inquiry to delivery

Build a training plan your team can use.

The Trouble Defense capability statement is a starting point. Your proposal connects these capabilities to your employees, workplace, and priorities.

Define the audience and need.

Identify the departments, supervisors, shifts, and public-facing roles involved. Tell us which situations cause concern and what employees should understand after training. Include preferred dates, approximate attendance, and accessibility needs so we can discuss an appropriate format.

Agree on delivery and documentation.

Your proposal should identify instructional time, participant groups, exercises, staffing, travel, and requested records. Discuss certificates, attendance documentation, and facilitated review before scheduling. This makes the scope clear for your purchasing team and the employees attending.

Keep the conversation going.

After training, supervisors can revisit discussion points during team meetings and onboarding. Review procedures when staffing, work locations, or responsibilities change. Explore our de-escalation training and workplace violence prevention training when planning follow-up education.

How can purchasing teams use the Trouble Defense capability statement?

Share the Trouble Defense capability statement with your procurement lead, confirm current registration details in SAM.gov, and send Kwesi your proposed scope. Include your purchasing process, requested documentation, decision timeline, and any vendor onboarding requirements so the proposal addresses your organization’s needs.

Can all three topics be included in one program?

Yes. Workplace violence prevention, de-escalation, and active shooter preparedness can be combined. We agree on the time, audience, and depth of each topic when developing your proposal.

Can you train at our workplace?

Yes. On-site instruction is available throughout the DMV. Virtual awareness sessions, multiple shifts, and larger programs can be discussed based on your needs and schedule.

Do employees need firearms experience?

No. These organizational programs focus on awareness, communication, prevention, and emergency preparedness. They are designed for employees and supervisors and do not require prior firearms experience.

What documentation can our organization request?

Discuss attendance records, completion certificates, instructor qualifications, a written scope, and an after-action discussion when planning your program. Your proposal will identify the agreed deliverables.

Why is there no fixed price on this statement?

A briefing for one small team and a multi-session program for an entire workforce require different resources. Request a proposal so pricing reflects your group size, instructional time, location, and selected services.
