Our instructors regularly work with first-time shooters. Before entering the firing lane, participants receive safety instruction covering proper firearm handling, stance, grip, aiming, trigger control, and range commands.

Tourist Shooting Experience Eligibility Requirements
Domestic and international tourists may be eligible to participate in our professionally guided shooting experience.
Eligibility depends on the participant’s age, identification, legal ability to possess firearms and ammunition, immigration admission status when applicable, and the host range’s current policies.
Every participant must:
• Be legally eligible to possess firearms and ammunition
• Present acceptable government-issued photo identification
• Meet the applicable age and supervision requirements
• Complete the required safety briefing and range waiver
• Follow every instructor and Range Safety Officer command
• Arrive sober and free from alcohol, marijuana, illegal drugs, or other impairing substances
• Wear required eye and ear protection
• Demonstrate safe and responsible behavior
• Receive advance confirmation when using foreign identification
Trouble Defense LLC and the host range reserve the right to deny, postpone, or end participation whenever identification, eligibility, documentation, behavior, health, or safety concerns exist.
Important Information for International Visitors
International visitors may be eligible to participate, but a foreign passport alone does not guarantee eligibility to handle or shoot a firearm.
Visitors admitted to the United States under the Visa Waiver Program or another visa-exempt admission may be eligible, provided they are not otherwise legally prohibited and meet all federal, Virginia, and range requirements.
Visitors admitted under a nonimmigrant visa are generally prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition unless they qualify for a federal exception. A qualifying exception may include a valid, unexpired hunting license issued by a United States state or another exception recognized under federal law.
International visitors must contact Trouble Defense LLC before booking. Please be prepared to present:
• Valid passport
• Current I-94 admission record
• Visa or ESTA documentation
• Valid United States hunting license or other exception documentation when applicable
• Any additional identification requested by the host range
Final participation is subject to review and approval by Trouble Defense LLC and the host shooting range.
International visitors should not send complete passport, visa, or immigration-document images through an unsecured contact form. Bring the original documents unless instructed otherwise.

Age requirements depend on the firearm selected and the host range’s current policies.
Adults age 18 and older may shoot rifles and shotguns. Adults age 21 and older may shoot handguns independently. Adults ages 18 through 20 may shoot handguns when accompanied by a guardian.
Participants under age 18 must remain accompanied and supervised by a parent while on the range. Children under age 10 are not permitted on the range.
Participation by anyone under age 18 must be confirmed with Trouble Defense LLC before booking. Firearm options may be limited based on the participant’s age.
Domestic visitors should bring a valid driver’s license, passport, military identification card, or another acceptable government-issued photo ID.
International visitors must contact Trouble Defense LLC before booking and should be prepared to present their passport, I-94 admission record, visa or ESTA documentation, and any required federal-exception documentation.
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Avoid sandals, flip-flops, low-cut shirts, or loose clothing that could catch hot cartridge casings.

Every participant receives a safety briefing and supervised instruction. Participants must follow all firearm-safety rules, instructor commands, and Range Safety Officer directions at all times.
Unsafe, threatening, reckless, or impaired behavior will result in the experience being stopped immediately.

Travel time varies based on traffic and the visitor’s starting location. Allow additional travel time during weekday rush hours.

Cancellations and rescheduling requests must be received at least 48 hours before the scheduled experience.
Requests made less than 48 hours before the appointment may be subject to rescheduling fees or loss of payment. No-shows are not eligible for a refund.
