Who We Are
Trouble Defense LLC was created to make professional firearm and safety education more accessible to everyday people.
Our students include complete beginners, experienced firearm owners, women, families, seniors, individuals with disabilities, concealed-carry applicants and professionals responsible for workplace safety.
We understand that handling a firearm for the first time can feel intimidating. Our instructors teach with patience, clear communication and respect. Students are encouraged to ask questions, learn at their own pace and develop skills through structured instruction—not pressure or fear.
We do more than help people complete a class. We teach responsible decision-making, safe firearm handling, legal awareness, practical preparedness and the importance of continuing education.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help individuals and organizations become safer through education, preparation and responsible decision-making.
Every Trouble Defense program is built around five core values:
- Safety before everything
- Professional and respectful instruction
- Responsible firearm ownership
- Confidence through education
- Training that is accessible to people from different backgrounds and ability levels
Whether someone is holding a firearm for the first time, applying for a concealed-carry permit or preparing employees for an emergency, our goal is to provide training that is useful, understandable and applicable to real life.
Dee Parker — Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Dee Parker is an eight-year United States Army veteran, certified firearms instructor and the founder and CEO of Trouble Defense LLC.
During his military career, Dee served as a Unit Supply Specialist and Unit Armorer. He was also selected to support the Army’s Best Warrior Competition as an instructor and evaluator, helping soldiers improve their firearm safety, marksmanship and mission readiness.
After completing his military service, Dee spent more than 15 years supporting federal government operations at the Pentagon Motor Pool. His responsibilities included logistics management, equipment accountability, operational planning and support for military and government personnel.
Becoming a husband and father gave Dee an even stronger reason to promote responsible firearm ownership. He founded Trouble Defense to help families protect themselves through education, preparation and sound decision-making—not fear.
Today, Dee continues to lead the company using the same values that guided his military and federal service: integrity, discipline, accountability and service to others.
Sheena Parker — Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer
Sheena Parker is the co-founder, Chief Operating Officer and a certified firearms instructor at Trouble Defense LLC.
Sheena is known for her patient, supportive and straightforward teaching style. She works extensively with beginners, women and students who may feel nervous or uncertain about firearms.
As a wife, mother, business owner and instructor, Sheena understands that every student arrives with different concerns, experiences and goals. She creates a respectful learning environment where students can ask questions, build skills and gain confidence without feeling judged or rushed.
Sheena also helps lead Trouble Defense’s women’s firearm training programs, including private instruction and the B.A.B.E. women’s group training experience.
Her leadership has helped Trouble Defense build a welcoming training culture where safety, education and personal growth remain the priority.
