Tell us what you want to learn and whether you plan to bring your own equipment. Your instructor can help you choose an appropriate focus and understand what to expect before live-fire practice.

Before you book

Private training questions.

Is the $140 price per person or for both people?

It is the total instruction fee for the dedicated two-person, one-hour appointment. Range fees and ammunition are additional.

Do I need firearm experience?

No. Private lessons welcome beginners and returning students. Tell us about your experience when booking so we can plan an appropriate starting point.

Do I need to own a firearm?

Contact us before booking to discuss rental availability, protective equipment, and any additional cost. If you prefer a beginner package with its equipment included, review the First-Time Gun Owner options.

Are range fees and ammunition included?

No. The $80 and $140 prices cover instruction. The one-person appointment currently offers a $30 range-fee prepayment and a $20 add-on for 50 rounds of 9mm. Ask our team about two-person costs and any other equipment requirements.

Can I choose Fairfax instead of Lorton?

Ask us to confirm Fairfax availability first. Standard private bookings list Lorton; your confirmation determines where you should meet the instructor.

Will a private lesson give me a concealed carry certificate?

A general private range lesson is a separate service from a permit-specific course. If you need a particular training certificate, tell us which jurisdiction you are applying to so we can direct you to the appropriate course.

Can I keep training after one lesson?

Yes. You can book another private appointment or compare the multi-session shooting packages.

What if I have accessibility needs or feel nervous?

Please contact our team before your appointment to discuss the learning environment, communication preferences, equipment, and facility access. We can talk through the arrangements for your selected session.
